Activity actual price spliting

Splitting Structure Not Working (OKES)   Posted: Jun 23, 2010 9:12 AM   Reply Hi All, Please kindly advice the problem i faced. the history as below: - We don't plan for KP06. - We plan activity rate using KP26 and key in the Fixed amount per hours only (no capacity, no hours, no variable amount). - we don't do splitting for plan rate. - The splitting we wish to have is only for actual rate. The configuration: 1) Set splitting structure & rule via (tcode : OKES) cost element group : Z_LABOR (the cost elements are : 400000,400010,400020) Activity type : DL00, DL01, DL02 Splitting rule method : 12 weighting indicator : ticked 2) Assign cost center to splitting structure (tcode : OKEW) cost center assigned : 120201 actual cost happened in cost center 120201 are: cost element / amount: 300030 / $500 --> this cost element is not in the splitting structure's cost element group 400000 / $100 400010 / $250 400020 / $300 400060 / $120 --> this cost element is not in the splitting structure's cost element group actual hours for activity DL00 in cost center 120201 is 200 hours Step: when i perform KSS2, it show that all cost element occur in cost center 120201 are included in the calculation. Means the actual rate calculated by splitting (KSS2) is $1270 for DL00 and during KSPI is $1270 / 200 hrs = $ 6.35 per Hrs isn't it should be $650 / 200 hrs = $ 3.25 per Hrs because from my understanding only cost element stated in OKES should be used in KSS2 and KSPI do i missed out some configuration or master data indicator in activity type/cost center?? Re: Splitting Structure Not Working (OKES)   Posted: Jun 23, 2010 11:30 AM    in response to: mirakartika   Reply Hello mirakartika, if you are not using the cost element planning the KSPI will not work and use the t code KSII for actual price calculation and check the repot KSBT. But you have to maintain the KP26 manually because KP26 is updated only from planning cycle after KSPI. Hope this can help.

Actually I have try if I used method 21 instead of 12 for splitting rule in OKEW, it work fine, during KSS2 it only read cost element which stated in OKES. I wonder why it not work for method 12 (actual activity) ??

This 'other' assignment is consist of cost element we dont want to be included during KSS2. an then assign to method 0 (no splitting). Hope thats help. Regards, Mira KH
